Steve Cliffen

Stephen, with Maureen, created a Charitable Trust in 2006 to help various separate Children's charities. They have continued to raise funds with family and friends to help finance the charity. The Children charities supported range from schools for the disabled and disadvantaged to the support, funding and help with a specific school in Tanzania. They had sold their business and with a core sum set up their charitable trust. This trust then makes donations. To raise funds they have organised trips to climb Kilimanjaro, cycle to the whole length of the UK and arrange, prepare and undertake the running of charitable events such as an evening ball and auction. The display commitment, tenacity and a range of interpersonal skills as well as personal fortitude. The impact on community is immeasurable. By creating their trust and supporting its' financing the Charity has helped countless children in great need. This is not only to the benefit of children personally but also to their direct family and friends. All these people both directly and indirectly benefit from as little as knowledge and reassurance that they have somewhere to turn. Therefore both Steve and Maureen have helped to help not only their local community but many others.
