Stan Hacking

Stan Hacking runs and conducts the Stan Hacking Concert Band which is a large concert band of volunteer musicians who play concerts for various charities. The band has raised over £235,000 so far for local and national charities. Stan is an ex-Royal Marines Band Colour Sargeant who served 22 years home and abroad. Stan formed the concert band approx. 25 years ago and has dedicated his life to making the band grow from strength to strength raising hundreds of thousands of pounds for charity. Unfortunately, Stan has now had to make use of the services of some of the charities he has helped out as he himself has recently been diagnosed with cancer. He is working hard to fight it and is still dedicating himself to his band where possible. A very giving and courageous man.
