Sophie Witherford

Sophie is an inspirational young person. She is a year 10 pupil at Dyson Perrins Sports College, who gets involved with every extra curricular event, often assisting with the younger years. She has assisted with the primary school festivals that our school hosts and is a lively and very likeable student. She reached county hockey, but spends additional hours training at Kayaking. she represents the school at the leadership academy, speaking to the lower years in assemblies and also to the school govenors. she has been an exceptional role model to the school and local community. she is an able performer and acts as the school captain in many sports. she works hard to imporve her own ability as well as that of her peers and the lower years that she assits with. She has completed over 100 community volunteering hours and has a great manner with others, always setting a good example. she is dependable, approachable and confident, and i beleive would be an excellent candidate to represent the sporting youth of malvern/ worcestershire being a touch bearer.
