Simon Cook

Simon is an excellent year six school teacher at the local (South Wootton) junior school. Besides being a great teacher, he motivates the children throughout the school, and has done for years, to get involved with sports in and out of school. He organises a great fun sportsday every year, has helped the children to win lots of awards and acheivements over the years. Despite teaching all day he will always help, run or organise extra sports and free sports clubs after school. He just gets on and involves the children as much as he can, giving them responsibilites and helping duties. I am a parent at his school and think he goes over and above what it expected of him, he will always help with any PTA events, talent shows, parties, discos and more. He is passionate about sport, played sport himself and I think such a good example to the children would be a great torchbearing choice!!
