Simon Boguszewski

(Commercial Yorkshire - Yorks Wildlife Park) In 2005 Simon's daughter Jasmin suffered kidney failure - he had to carry her everywhere whilst she was under treatment. After a full recovery, Simon dedicated his time to raising funds for kidney research which then involved doing marathons carrying the weight of his daughter (44lbs). He has raised £20K in his charity fund raising events over thelast 5 years and is now the president of the yorkshire kidney research fund.. 2 years ago, Simon also took part in a 24 hour world record breaking event for the Ultimate Fitness Challenge raising funds for Kidney research and NSPCC. Simon is an inspiration to the people around him, his infectious enthusiasm and activity to all around him has had an impact on his community to people of all ages.
