Silvia Sanchez Alcantara

Publicist and a women rights promoter. In 2007, she started to get involved in a much more active way in creating an expression forum for all Mexican women. In the same year, she organized for the first time the International Women´s Day Congress, which has been institutionalized as the biggest event for Mexican women to take place annually.

She is the founder and director of "Women Challenges", the first digital community for Mexican women, where they can learn and share their stories, as well as get information about subjects of importance and interest for them.

Sylvia is an exemplary Mexican, who makes a continuous effort to demonstrate the positive that results from the union of Mexican women. CR
