Dennis Chung

Mr Dennis Chung started out in the Hong Kong Police force before moving to the UK, he was first a volunteer at Hackney Chinese Community Services where he helped in the elderly luncheon club, where a vancacy came up for home care services, Mr Chung applied and was successful, he worked as a homecare worker in the community for three years until the post came to an end. Mr Chung was a active member of the community for many years and it was a nautral progession that he was nominated to become a member of the Management Committee for HCCS. In the year 2002 he was elected to be Chairman of the organisaton where he has led the organisation to be one of the leading Chinese community organiations in London. Mr Chung is a very dicated person and is also on the board of school governors for the Chinese School and takes active part in fund rasising and giving his time to the community.
