Shirley Waller

Shirley is 78 years old and has been blind for 25 years. During this time Shirley has been an avid fundraiser for south lincolnshire blind society and guide dogs.

Shirley has aslo given up much of her time to support the management of the blind society and ensure that local people who are suffering with sight loss issues can have accesible local services and the support they need to help them live independant lives.

Shirley encourages people to help themselves and keep fit and active and independant.

Shirley has helped lots of people and would love to walk the olympic flame with her guide dog Alfie.
