The London 2012 Olympic Torch is going to be lighted in London; millions of people all over the world are going to enjoy the Olympic passion and glamour.

Rick Hu from InterContinental Qingdao is one of them, who has joined the worldwide famous hotel group since 1992. With the passion for the 2008 Beijing Olympic, he resigned from Korean consulate where he had been working for 6 years and joined Qingdao InterContinental, the former Athletes' village for sailing regatta.

Rick has been dedicated himself to community environment and charity activities, for example, he was the first volunteer for blood donation among six hundred hotel talents; he organized more then three hundred enterprises to plan trees every year, and with a grateful heart, he makes contribution for charity all of which were highly recognized by the UN General Secretary Pandora as well as Korean Ambassador to China.

2007 and 2008 witnessed Rick's great effort on involving in Olympic Sailing Center's establishment and Emergency Plan's exercise and grand training to all the staff participated in Olympic Sailing Regatta. Rogge, Chairman of IOC offered a big applause to his great effects and hard work.
