After finishing his own rugby career which included playing for Premier teams like Ebbw Vale Sean rejoined his local rugby club and saw that the Mini Rugby section of the Ynysddu club was non-exitstance and decided to do something about it. Week in week out Sean is the first at training sessions and matches. Sean encourages and praises, he is a fantastic role model for all the boys and girls, always approachable and always has a positive outlook. Sean has a big sporting ethos on fairplay and sportsmanship.this will help the children grow in confidence and have a belief in their potential abilities, both sporting and academic. Starting the local Mini Rugby Club has also brought a community closer together .Local discos, Fun Days, Halloween Partys have all happened because of the exitstance of the Mini Rugby Club. Sean has inspired and encouraged more and more children and parents to get involved and has inspired other members to show initiative for fund raising.
