Sean's nomination story

Sean is a real giver, and asks for nothing in return. Over the past couple of years he has spent countless hours working for a variety of charities across both Kent and East Anglia such as the Guide Dog Association, of which he helped set up the flagship university branch, raising money through the likes of dressing up in dog costumes among other events. He really doesn't care if people think he looks silly or anything, as long as it grabs people's attention in the right way and for a good cause. Even at the age of 16 he was working with primary school children with learning difficulties and received a commendation from the school for his work. Even at school, he was the charity prefect, working hour after hour to raise money for charity through events such as rag week and not once throughout all of this he has asked for anything in return. However, he isn't just a giver in the community as well as making a huge difference in schools, he is also a great friend. He always puts others, including myself, before himself. He often will stay up late in the night when a friend is low to make sure they are all right. He really does try to make a difference in everyone's life and in my opinion he really does, whilst also striving for perfection in everything he does. I really do believe he should be given this moment to shine in return for all his hard work.
