Sarah Springman, International Triathlon Union vice president and British Triathlon president, is the driving force behind the development and growth of the most exciting, fastest growing sport in the Olympic Family. Triathlon was the first event to sell out and Sarah's lifetime of work as both a world-class athlete and sport governance leader are a big part of the reason why. Sarah also spearheaded the successful effort to have paratriathlon added to the Paralympic program for the Rio 2016 Games. Sarah is a fantastic triathlete, coach, and supporter of athletes of all abilities and from all walks of life. Her success setting up the ITU's World Championship Series Triathlons in Hyde Park are testimony to her skills. Her leadership of British Triathlon also has contributed to gold medal contenders such as the Brownlee brothers and Helen Jenkins, who promise to make the U.K. proud in 2012.
