Sara Smithson

Sara has helped families who have children with disabilities. Sara has given up her own time to set up a organisation called Parent Power. This was first set up in her local area and due to the succes Parent Power is now in several comunities which means Sara spends 7 days a week involved in helping others by organising events or offering support to families who need it. On top of all this Sara's son suffers from autism and demands alot of Sara's time. Sara never complains and is always willing to drop things and visit families who need her help. I have attended some of the sessions that sara runs and have found that everybody there is so fgrateful for all her help. I belive that Sara should be given the opportunity to carry the tourch so that she knows how thankfl people are and let her know how appreciated she is.
