Sarah Mooney

Sarah is an inspiration to all young women, especially in her community. They have seen her in a very dark place 4 yrs ago through alcohol addiction. She was taken in by a church group in Sheffield who saved her life. If she had carried on she would have died. She took up running at a very slow pace at first. Now 4 years later she is running marathons at a fantastic time, she completed the London marathon in 3hrs 17mins. She gained her place with a championship place through a good time for a half marathon. She belongs to an athletic club and has gained many prizes at local races personally and as part of their team. She has inspired many women at her club, her local gym and some wonderful people she has met through running. She is a shining light to all people young and old, who think they will never get over drink/drug addiction. I would appreciate you considering Sarah
