Sarah. One of her favourite hobbies is her passion for cricket, after playing for 7 years she now plays for her local team Garboldisham and the Norfolk ladies. She also coaches every Friday night after gaining her level 2 coaching. Sarah along with full time education involving her GCSE's and A levels has managed to do over 500 hours of community work in the last 4 years alone. She gained these hours through her regular help at Brownies and a disabled scouts troop. She also has an incredible amount of involvement with our school, and the primary schools surrounding us. Because of all the effort she puts into clubs, events etc she has gained herself the higher sports leader award. And this is why in July last year she was presented with the prestigious Diana award for all her community work. Its difficult to see how she manages it. Sarah will be leaving school this year with 4 A levels after 7 years at Diss High School with the intention of attending university. Sarah really is a incredible friend with a constant smile on her face no matter what and I believe she has to be one of the special people that deserves this once in a lifetime moment, to show her how much her community appreciates her as a mentor, coach, family member but most of all a friend or mum as I like to call her! I really do hope she is considered and I know she would love it. She would do anything for anyone, so its time I/ the community gave something back to her and I hope this will be it. fingers crossed!
