Sarah's nomination story

Sarah is an amazing person in so many ways and, whilst she wouldn't recognise it, is a perfect person to be a Torchbearer. She works for Royal Berkshire Hospital as a nurse on the Paediatric nurse and is also a fantastic mother to our 4 month old son. The reason I think she would be perfect is that whilst there isn't one specific inspirational act, she is representative of so many inspirational people who need to have someone to carry the torch for them. 1, The children's wards at Royal Berkshire Hospital are fantastic despite working in some challenging situations and undertaking activities that most of us would find too difficult to do. As the torch passes through Reading the hospital as a whole needs to be represented and having a member of staff would be a perfect way to do this. 2, Since becoming a parent I have become aware of the sacrifices mothers make pre pregnancy, during the pregnancy and then once their baby is born. Whilst their will be inspirational acts people have been nominated for I think Sarah would be perfect as she is representative of the thousands of inspirational acts that mothers take every year that go completely unnoticed. 3, The main reason think Sarah should be represented is that she would not think herself worth and she doesn't know how inspirational she is.
