Sam Macphee

Sam has a big heart! He routinely runs 5/10km runs to raise money for local charities. He is just about to do a charity bike ride in his week's annual leave which will consist of 190 miles around the Outer Hebridies for Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland since he has lost many of his family to such illness/disease. A recent event he completed was a hospital cycle marathon which was 85km around all the hospitals in the Moray area - again raising money for charity (British Heart Foundation). He works as a learning disability nurse and it shows through every day, just how much he loves his job and the people he helps each day. He doesn't mention the difference that he makes and I think he would be very proud to be given a place in the torch carrying relay and I hope that you consider his nomination. Many thanks.
