Two years ago my family and I set up a charity event in our community to support Barnardo's. The event called 'Kids Car Boot & Swap Shop' gives my local community the opportunity to recycle their old toys and games rather than simply throwing these away. . The event has helped build a strong community spirit where all families can benefit. To date we have raised over £29,000 for the Barnardo's charity in just under two years. I am proud to carry to the Olympic torch as a mark of recognition for the work my family has done.
