Some phrases from my childhood which keep me guided. Everyone can make a difference . Every little helps . Every penny counts . There's no such word as can't . It's never too late . One of my childhood ambitions was to run the Marathon. As time ticked by I realised that my ambition was a bit too 'ambitious'. At the age of 36, I had not done any real exercise since I was at school. However, this year I took stock and thought, It's never too late , There's no such word as can't , Every little helps so I decided to apply for Race for Life and completed it this summer (running all the way!). Not only was this a personal achievement, I raised over £500 for a good cause and encouraged my friends to join me - Every penny counts , Everyone can make a difference . Who knows? Next year it could be a 10k!
