Samantha's nomination story

Sam is an inspiration to my life in many ways, Sam has had a tough start to life, but has that incredible rare quality that shines through, makes her an achiever and inspiration to us all. Despite her being diagnosed with a brain tumor, having to undergo surgery and radiotherapy, she has managed to achieve a 1st in her degree while at university, has got a job with outstanding status in her primary school where she has a demanding job as a teacher, is getting married in June, she also helps in the community at church fund rasing events, and has raised thousands of pounds for cancer reasearch, and is a generally very positive and outgoing individual. She brings out the best in me and always puts all her effort into everything she does and really proves that despite the circumstances you really can do anything if you put your mind to it. I believe Sam should be a torchbearer for everyone who has had or is dealing with cancer, especially brain tumors, for every teacher and also for everyone in socety to hear and be inspired by her life story. Sam always tries her best, is very caring and makes a huge difference to society. Sam would love this country and indeed the whole world to be a better place, and I believe it would be if everyone lived a little like Sam! This is quite humble, what with Sam being nobody famous, but she is incedibly valuable to her family, friends and community and if anyone deserves to be a torch bearer I strongly think that Sam does! Thanks, Dean
