Representing his community, representing his country, representing his sport, Sam Hutt is the ideal Olympic Torchbearer. From 5 years old and at his local primary school he began learning to play tennis. As a teenager at Bradon Forest School his talent and determination in this highly competitive sport took him through at 14 years old to winning a press poll as Wiltshire and Gloucestershire's Young Sportsman of the Year and many county junior titles. From Wiltshire to Wimbledon Cricklade's tennis ace beats some of the best in the world. Ranked highly on the international tennis circuit Sam is rated as a real inspiration in his home town where he coaches younger players who are aiming to follow their tennis dreams giving advice to aspiring sportsmen and women.
