Sally Sheward

Our mum has dedicated her whole life to helping other people. She has set up two support groups for sufferers of Multiple Sclerosis where she's given countless hours of physiotherapy and other support to help improve their condition. She also visits people in their homes and helps with their shopping and cleaning. She is the full-time carer for her husband who is also a multiple sclerosis sufferer as well as working full time and yet still finds the time to do what she can for other people. Our mum never buys anything for herself or does anything nice for herself - the chance to carry the flame would mean so much to her and would be our way to demonstrate to her how proud we are of her and what a role model she is for us and everyone else.
