Ruby Miller is one of Cardiff University's most impressive students, balancing the demands of her studies in Occupational Health with her intensive training on the University's High Performance Sports Programme. Ruby started her cycling career at the age of 10 and has since enjoyed considerable success in all parts of the sport, including track, mountain bike, road and cyclo-cross. On the international stage, Ruby has excelled. She was selected for the Olympic Development Programme 2008 - 2010 and was the National Cyclo-Cross Champion, National Mountain Bike Champion and National Track Champion in the 2009/10 season. More recently, Ruby was selected to compete in the Senior Track Cycling World Cup at the Manchester Velodrome. At University level, Ruby is Cardiff's top point scorer in the British Universitities and College Sport (BUCS) competition and has won a host of medals in this competition.
