(Co-op) I always try to take part in one or two crazyish events each year. This year I took part in the Chester Olympic Triathlon to raise money for Mencap and my local school. The events starts with a 1,5000M swim in the river Dee, a 40KM Bike ride followed by a 10KM run. Last year I took part in the 'Trail Trekker', a 100km trek for teams of four over 30 hours across the Yorkshire dales in aid of Oxfam. I reckon over the past few years I have and as part of a team raised in excess of £10,000. I am planning something big for next year, but I have just got to persuade my wife to let me do the training for it.
