Roy Gardner

I would like to nominate Sir Roy Gardener to run with the torch.  He is an amazing man who has been a supporter of the British Olympic Association since 2008, chairing the Beijing Appeal, helping us to raise over £2.5m.  As an Ambassador on the Team 2012 Fundraising Appeal he has tirelessly promoted the cause to friends and colleagues, helping us to raise over £15m since 2009.  To see Roy run with the torch would be brilliant.  It would allow him to participate in an event in which he has already invested a huge amount of time and effort.  His family would be incredibly proud of him.  He has been critical to the success of our fundraising and we couldn't be more grateful to him.
