Rowan Wright

Rowan is an energetic young man who is passionate about the countryside and rural issues. Examples of this include his membership in The Burton Hunt where he very much enjoys Autumn and Full Hunting and he regularly volunteers to get the cross country course ready at Hackthorn Hall for One Day Events, etc. He was recently awarded a Trophy to pay tribute for his efforts. He is a keen sportsman and uses his leadership and team skills in all that he takes part in. Rowan plays polo with school and is a competent athlete, and has also taken sailing qualifications and will do a Junior Instructor's course during the summer. Recently Rowan passed his Bronze D of E and is now undertaking his Silver Award. He has been an active member of Willingham's Playing Field Committee for the past four years and works tirelessly for others. Rowan is an Explorer and is keen for other young people to reach their full potential and develop their skills. Very recently Rowan undertook the position as Chairman for Corringham Young Farmer's and enjoys all that this encompasses. When others are struggling he is happy to support and help.
