Rosie Barfoot

Inspired by Lord Coe; in 2009 Rosie founded and led The Phoenix Legacy, a community volunteer organisation for those aged over 50 in Dorset to maintain wellbeing and keep active in 'Mind,Body and Spirit.' With over 150 enrolled members, the completion of a 'Garden Regeneration' project at The Cossroads Centre in Weymouth and support from local businesses and local organisations the next develoment stage is coming together with the launch of 'Mind Your Head Challenge.' Opened by the reigning World Mind Mapping Champion at Kingston Mauward college in August and supported by The Brain Trust Charity, the organisation is now signing up groups, individuals and organisations to become 'Brain Cells' in Dorset. World class speakers will contribute and participate at a conference and exhibition on 12/12/2012. She has inspired others and worked hard to create this Legacy and still run her business.
