Roger Sherliker

My Dad has spent nearly 20 years volunteering as an athletics coach for children in the Southampton area. Even though he works long hours, he spends several nights a week and weekends coaching and supporting talented young athletes, and I know the athletes he helps respect him hugely and appreciate how much of a difference he makes to their sporting careers. He has never expected any recognition for what he does, he does it because he loves athletics and the kids he coaches. He is a wonderful person and I know how much it would mean to him to take part in the 2012 torch relay. I really hope that Lloyds TSB can help me make ths happen for my Dad, it would be a dream come true for him and a fantastic way to recognise his dedication to young people in sport.
