Robyn Tyler

Robyn was referred to the Welsh Government National Exercise Referral Scheme with Monmouthshire County Council in August 2010 for inactivity, coronary heart disease risk factors and weight management.

Since starting the scheme a year ago Robyn has increased her physcial activity levels considerably and is now exercising in the fitness suite at Monmouth Leisure Centre 5 times each week following a gym programme which has helped her with a considerable weight loss of over 6 stone.

Robyn has not only benefitted just physically but mentally also with increased self confidence and self esteem. Since starting the scheme members of Robyn's family have also joined the exercise referral scheme and are now benefitting from regular physical activity. Robyn has been inspirational in encouraging members to improve their quality of life. CR
