Robert Swannell

Robert Swannell's love of the Olympics' started when he was young, insipired by his Grandfather who competed at the 1924 and 1928 Olympic Games. He has for many years played a pivotal role in supporting the Olympic movement in Great Britain and is now an Ambassador for the Team 2012 fundraising Appeal. In this role he has raised substantial funds for British athletes and is helping to ensure London 2012 leaves a lasting legacy for sport in the UK. His commitment to Team 2012, and many other causes, deserves recognition and carrying the Torch would be a fitting way for us to provide this.
