My brother-in-law, Rob (aka Scouse) has been involved in sport, particularly football for all his working life. Coaching the Army Engineer Regiment, winning 9 out of 10 army cups, plus coaching a few that went to play in the English & Scottish leagues and national side. Helping at army schools with extra curricular sport, creating a good community spirit far from home. Since leaving the army he`s held many football coaching jobs, particularly working within youth football, puts 150% into helping the younger coaches get their badges going above and beyond his duty. Encouraging those who lack ability, helping improve skills & confidence. Regarded as one of the most respected and nicest guys in the business. Generous, kind and able to communicate well with people from all walks of life. His latest venture is for Football Gambia a small non-profit UK Charity, promoting education through football in the Gambia. Please visit www.footballgambia.org to see more. He has also set collections for peoples donations of old or unwanted sports clothes and then ships it out to Gambia, he visited Gambia earlier this year. He has also run a couple of marathons for charity. He helps communities locally and globally, helps young coaches, encourages people to be a part of a healthy sport, demonstrates ability to communicate regardless of background, we should celebrate and be proud of his sporting achievements. Not one for a fuss or praise, but what a good way to say thanks.
