Robert Hardy

A University of Bristol student, who has dedicated his spare time to volunteer with schools at community sport events, has been nominated by Olympic Champion, Jason Gardener to carry the Olympic Flame in the London 2012 Olympic Torch Relay route

Since joining the University in 2007, Robert Hardy, a final-year physics student, has spent countless hours coaching a variety of sports to Bristol school children of various ages. RELAYS and its 13 partner HE institutions in the South West are providing opportunities for students to volunteer. Having students like Robert supporting our work makes a huge difference to what we can achieve.
