Ricky Kaplan

Ricky introduced a scheme which enables students to volunteer in their community therefore spreading happiness and giving back.At university in the past 2 years I created Vscheme which is an unofficial charity that partners up with local charitable causes to create volunteering opportunities that are tailor made for students thus being a significant help to the community and giving students the best chance to give something back. The scheme started in Nottingham and has placed 50 students in the community to volunteer through 5 charities and I am currently in the process of setting up the scheme in 3 more UK cities. My ambition is to make Vscheme an official charity. My burning passions are working with children with Special Needs and of course running Vscheme because there is no greater pleasure than helping people and trying to inspire others to do the same.
