Richard Manning

Richard loves sport ,all sport and refereed rugby matches for 25yrs.He drove hundreds of miles in all kinds of weather and listened to all kinds of 'advice' from both players and spectators. He has continued to support the sport by assessing referees.He has encouraged his own children to participate in team sports and as a local GP provided medical backup at local rugby and cricket matches over the years.He campaigned tirelessly with other interested villagers to have a childrens playground built in the centre of the village a few years ago. It would mean a great deal to him to participate in this way in such a momentous occasion
