Richard Lomas-Brown

Richard coaches Junior Athletics at his local running club where he is also membership secretary. This is in Bourne, Lincolnshire and he is a very valued member of the local community and the running club. He also co-ordinates most of the clubs in house competitions. This helps motivate and inspire the juniors especially to improve their own performances and help each other.

Richard gives his own time to do this which is well over 200 hours per year. The skills he uses for this are his own athletic skills and his excellent team building skills. He is methodical in his planning. He is also excellent at motivation and leading by example with his coaching. I believe Richard is an excellent role model of our Group and he always gives his best to whatever task he is focussing on both in and out of work. He is a fantastic role model in branch and a definite team player and is highly regarded among all his colleagues.
