Richie's nomination story

Richard is one in a million. He is the most caring young boy i have meet in along time. Richard is 14 and is a very caring with people of all ages. Richard is very interested in sport, water polo, swiming, football, cricket, rugby, american football and table tennis.

Richard is doing his Duke of Edinburgh (Bronze). Richard is always raising money for different charities.

Richard grandand died a few years ago and Richard helped to look after him. Richards older (16), brother Simon was diagnosed with diabetes last year and has found if hard to cope, but Richard is always there for his brother, making sure he checks his blood level

and make sure he takes his insulin. On holiday his mother told me that Richard slept in the same room in the caravan on the nights when his brother did look right just in case.

Richard is always smiling no matter whot and has a great since of humour. Richard will do anything he is asked to do.

They have just recently swam at the local swinimg baths the equivelent of the english channel in aid of Diabetes uk with his brother and raised over £400 pounds.

Richard really deserves the honour of carrying the Olympic Flame, please give Richard the chance to have his moment honour.

His Grandma is having an eye operation shortly and Richard will also be there for her helping in any way he can.
