Riah Biscette

riah is 14 years old and has been interested in sport from an early age. she has won an award from her school for achievments in the community. Riah has been nominated by her school to work as a sports leader in the community, and has done so for the past 2 years taking part in athletics with young children from local schools. i,e track and field , javelin, high jump etc..She has worked very hard to encourage and engage young children into sport through her after school clubs and explain to those already playing sport but more important for those who may never have thought about taking up a sport that it can be fun for everyone involved. as well as the personal benefits through exercise. She is studying BTEC sport and is on course to gain a distinction showing how hard she works. to see her carry the torch would be historic,amazing and a personal achievement for her.
