Anton Kalafus

Anton has raised nearly £2000 for the Alzheimers Society on a recent 720 mile or 1152km solo bike ride starting in the Hook of Holland and finishing up a mountain in Spitzingsee Germany. He continues to fund raise and help the hospice that looked after his late wife Helen. Even when Helen was ill and in the last weeks of her life he always had time talk with his staff and colleagues of any problems they had and never about his own problems. Anton is always so positive despite his recent loss and is a source of admiration for those who meet him. Anton is about to recognise something in people that they dont see themselves - which has a significant impact on others. Anton is nominated for his unfailing spirit and determination.
