Sport has always been in Rebecca's life in particular badminton. From the time she won her first junior National title at U12 to the Ladies Team gold at the 1998 Commonwealth Games, the want to help others has always been there. On retirement from full time playing Rebecca moved back to her home town of Cheltenham and became more involved in coachng all levels from beginners, schools, local league players up to working for the National Governing Body as one of the U17 Age group coaches taking them to international tournaments.Currently one of only 2 level 3 coaches in the country and the only female. On top of this she also travels to the Falkland Islands and has helped encourage more youngsters to play, as well as taking them to the island games and delhi 2010. BUT At the same time as all the above committments she has had to deal with tragic family issues in the last 2 years and has been instrumental in slowly bringing the family back together whilst still having a smile on her face for the people she is coaching.
