Rebecca joined 1st Wigmore Guides at the age of ten, having been a Rainbow and a Brownie. She has camped every year and progressed through the movement. As soon as she was old enough she began supporting a Rainbow Unit as a Pack Leader, later taking on further responsibility and becoming a Young Leader. In the summer of 2010 having raised in excess of £2,000 she went on a Guide trip to India working along side other Guides in a Shelter for homeless Girls and Woman, decorating, refurbishing and working with the Children. Coming back inspired, this year she has once again fundraised and will be going to Africa with Guiding in July, to work the HIV ophans and help build a house. In the last year Rebecca has also become a Guider in training with 1st Wigmore guides and has just completed an adult course in British Sign Language Stage 1 for the Deaf for her Gold D of E qualification. she was also chosen to be part of the Colour Party at the World Guide Centenary Thinking day parade at Westminster. She sings for the Chamber choir at school and Kent Youth Singers and has attended the heats for the Olympic youth Choir. She is a trustworthy, helpfull young woman who i know puts her heart and sole in to every thing she undertakes. I now sing in Kent Youth Choir, not Kent Youth Singers.
