Staff Sergeant Becky Matthewson is a dedicated member of the Army Cadet Force, and runs a small rural detachment in Broomhill. She continually strives to get the best out of her cadets, pushing them to achieve demanding goals, and turning them into valued members of the community. She inspires the youth of today to join the organisation, bettering themselves and giving them extracurricular activities. Becky always keeps the cadets involved in the local community, from visits to retirement homes to chat with the elderly, assistance at local charity events, planting trees in the local country park, to being pivotal members for the running of the annual Druridge Bay 10k Run. With limited resource, Becky has taken her cadets through the ACF training, and turned them into respectable members of the community.
