Rebecca is a real inspiration to me, and others, by the way she demonstrates complete selflessness and integrity. Rebecca is in her final 'GSCE' year but despite the ongoing pressures of revision, controlled assessments, examinations and 'general growing up' she always finds the time to support her friends when they need it most. She has supported one particular friend who has experienced depression and challenges in her personal life and has not once thought about herself but always 'been there' for her friend no matter what time of the day or night. Additionally, she always makes time for her friends with young siblings when they need her support; taking the children to the park, playing games, babysitting and assisting with homework & related tasks. Her kind, caring nature has recently been recognized when she won an achievement award at school relating to her Child Development studies. Rebecca's qualities such as selflessness, kindness, empathy and willingness to help others are recognized by her peer group and friends but should be evident to a wider audience.
