Becky (Becks) is a tiny 15 year old footballer from Salford. One of 5 with a twin brother, 16 year old twin brother & sister & older sister. She was the first female footballer chosen for an interleague team in the UK 2007 representing Salford. Her last mixed football game ever due to FA rules, she campaigned to change this rule collecting over 3000 signatures and visiting parliament & the FA. The age is now 13 for mixed football. she has played for Manchester City, United and her county. She has become one of the best referees her age refereeing County Regionals for the FA this year. An FA young leader, Junior Football organiser & in the past year giving over 200 hours of volunteer work to grassroots football in Salford, organising a football tournament with her brothers & sister raising over £200 for cancer research & giving a full week of her time for a football fun week. She is an role model to young people her age, especially in Salford & deserves to be recognised. Liked by everyone and praised by her teachers as always giving 100%.She is the most amazing child you could meet, she is caring, giving and never moans or asks for anything from us. She helps so much around the home especially helping care for her terminally ill grandma. I just believe that Becky is an amazing and special person who deserves to be recognised, she inspires all the children at the local football club & me.. Becky shows what the youth of today are really like and deserves a chance.
