Ray Owen

Ray is the editor of the Minster Matters. He goes beyond the call of duty to get this free informative and entertaining magazine to every house in the village. He is known by all for his involvement with various groups and charities, helps organise the annual village show, attends events to promote the Minster Scouts,. He involves the schoolchildren in local issues and projects through their own page in the magazine. He has started a Freegle group in Thanet so people can recycle their goods. He operates a battery recycling programme. He has created websites for various charities and groups for free. He provided all the information which led to Minster winning the Village of the Year. He has recently paraded in Fancy Dress for the Salvation Army 125th Party, he becomes Santa at Christmas, helps with the Village Late Night Shopping. He is well known for his work in the community and more.
