Raju Miah

In primary school he was an active member who would always work with the teachers to provide extra facilities for students. he worked with the teachers for the introduction of playground buddies groups of people who ensured playtime was fun by providing a range of playground equipment, most of the time giving up his own playtime. In secondary school he created the first ever Student Council which till this day continues to run as a success. His aim was to allow students to have a platform to speak, a way of shaping their future and aims in life. He went on to be elected a Member of Youth Parliament /Young Mayor by an election process across the whole borough with 24other candidates. He helped the borough win a beacon award status. He now teaches in theatres with young people to inspire and raise their aspirations. He recently worked and taught venerable adults and teenagers.
