Rachel rowed across the Atlantic to fundraise for Breast Cancer Care & now uses her experience to help young people struggling to find work.I use my experiences of rowing across the Atlantic to inspire young people who are out of work. Together with a training partner for the Prince's Trust we use this to underpin the key messages of the 'Get Into' program - which are motivation reliability professionalism and determination to achieve their goals. The story opens the students minds to the idea that they could achieve more than they think possible if they plan prepare set goals and commit to achieve. Feedback in a thank you card from one student said the day has made me think of the steps and commitment I need to make to reach the goals I need for my future. I'm now developing my career in this area and hope to inspire more young people to follow their dreams and succeed.
