Rachel Lane

I want to nominate my Best Friend Rachel to carry the Olympic Torch because she has been battling with Cancer for the past three years and still is today.

Despite this personal battle she has a heart of gold and no matter what she has been facing she is still 100 % there for all of her loved 1s, which are her family and friends.

Rachel is only 26 and in her short life has had to face many years of battling this awful disease and none of us know how much longer she is going to have to keep fighting or how much longer her body will allow her to fight, currently she has put together a bucket list of all the things she wants to achieve in her life in case the illness prevents her from achieving them. She is getting through her list weil, but carrying the Olympic Torch is something which would mean the world to her and Rachel does SO much for others and is SO kind and thoughtful & a total Sweetheart, & this world has been dreadfully cruel to her. I really hope that by me nominating her she will achieve her dream of carrying to torch and she can have a chance to feel special and it will be a chance for all of her loved ones to thank her for everything that she does & continues to do.
