Quantae Ramdin

Torch Bearer Quantae has been instrumental in the development of an Olympic Legacy programme for the school and the School Sport Partnership. Quantae is an AdiStar and for the last two years he has presided over the Olympic Drive team promoting London 2012 and the related Olympic and Paralympic values in a variety of educational enterprises. He has been involved in numerous intra-school and inter-school sports festivals including the Hampshire Parallel Games; linking the Olympic ideals and values to the practical activities. He has advocated the 2012 legacy programme by presenting workshops and table top discussions respectively at the Hampshire Olympic Conference and the Sports College Conference. He is an excellent all round sportsman and a dynamic sports leader who is a great role model to his peers. He has been 'lighting' the Olympic torch in all his work and is still only 14 years of age! Quantae exemplifies the clarion call for 'Young People Leading the Way'.
