Pippa Goodwin

Pippa is a Health Trainer at Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Trust. She's truly gone the extra mile for both staff and clients. Pippa took the initiative using her own personal money to fund a training session to become a Nordic walking instructor for the benefit of clients and NHS staff. She's been truly inspirational in encouraging staff from a number of hospital sites across Derbyshire to learn how to become proficient in the art of Nordic walking. Pippa is always bright and cheerful and uses her lunch breaks and evenings to motivate staff to continue to practise, organising and leading walks on a regular basis. For the first time Pippa recently took part, and completed the Robin Hood half marathon by competing as part of the Nordic Walking Team! Pippa is truly inspirational, encouraging physical activity at every opportunity to all staff that she comes into contact with.
