Phil Lee

Phil served as a local authority councillor for 8 years, promoting Heysham Village in a very positive way playing a major part in securing funding through the FA for a youth football facility within the village, this is used several times a week by local youth football teams. Phil has also been a national trust volunteer since 1997 promoting sustainability at all times in the area, a major supporter of local community projects including Heysham in Bloom his energy and enthusiasm has enabled Heysham village to win RHS gold & national/ international awards consistently over the last 8 years. In 2005 Heysham was judged best village in the UK for sustainability cleanliness and community support. Phil looks after the gardens of some of the older residents in the village he is also responsible sustainable planting in the public areas of the Village.
